áRBOLES DE CASTILLEJO white
It comes from Moscatel and Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
Very pale and bright color.
It has floral fragances of the Moscatel but not in excess for its early harvest.
In the mouth the Moscatel gives it body and the Sauvignon Blanc brings freshness, is aromatic and light, is balanced. It is not sweet, it is dry and with good acidity.
As it does not have additives it has to be kept cold so that it does not oxidize.
ARBOLES DE CASTILLEJO red
Made with Merlot, Garnacha Tintorera and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
It is a young wine without aging (it does not go through the wooden barrels).
It has primary fragances of red fruits like strawberries, and minerals.
Very light filtration, therefore sufficient brightness, without depleting the qualities of such a full wine.
JUAN JOSé red
Our most popular wine.
Made with Tempranillo grapes and hints of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
It is a aging with much body without roughness, with soft tannins of the grape and the American oak.
Intense and vivid color, no browns or oranges. Red and blue.
Nose powerful, with red fruits, licorice, milk, vanilla. Secondary fragances to oak wood and also still of fruits, rich in cherry and red fruits.
AD PATER red
This is the star of our winery.
It comes mostly from a Tempranillo grape of vineyard about 65 years ago with very little production. This grape coming from the old vineyard has many more nuances and complexity, it is delicious.
It also has Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
It is a very complex and elegant wine with aging in French oak that is more fine.
Very dark cherry color with violet trim.
Fragrances of black and candied fruits such as blackberries, currants, spicy touches such as nutmeg, licorice, chocolate, and also toasted coffee.
It has a great body and density but at the same time velvety with soft and elegant tannins.
The aftertaste is long and persistent, leaving us a pleasant sensation in the mouth, which invites us to continue drinking.
Dry White with bubbles made with Moscatel grape and Rosé with Cabernet Sauvignon. Bubbles of natural prodecency.
Harvested on August 17 and already in the bottle with its own bubbles, produced by native yeasts, acting on the sugar of the grape itself.
"Degüelle"with traditional style (removing the plug and undoing the sediment accumulated in the neck of the bottle), and a lot of work over, but it's a treat.
Being able to drink a sparkling wine in these early dates, is a pleasure within reach of few.
We recommend drinking it very cold
